The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Brooch
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee brooch was made by award-winning British fine jewellery designer, David Marshall, and his team at their workshop in London’s iconic jewellery quarter, Hatton Garden. The piece, which represents the four nations, was commissioned by the Goldsmiths’ Company as a gift to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Survey of Black Jewellers 2020
The UK's first national Survey of Black Jewellers has been carried out by Private 2 Public Ltd on behalf of Kassandra Lauren Gordon, a jeweller and activist, supported by the Goldsmiths’ Company and the Goldsmiths’ Centre. It follows Kassandra’s open letter to the jewellery industry in June 2020 about the lack of diversity and inclusion for black people in the industry.
Marking 700 years - The Goldsmiths’ Company 2027 Strategy
For many years, since our very beginning in some cases, we have performed roles that reach deep into our trade and beyond, such as promoting apprenticeships, hallmarking precious metals and assessing the nation’s coinage. Now, as we move inexorably towards the 700th anniversary of the granting of our first Royal Charter of 1327, we are working on a broad range of new projects that we hope will be completed or well under way by the time the anniversary year comes around in 2027.
